Abstract: The visions of some groups about nationality, diversity and local traditions always confront each other as if they are contradictory impossible to reconcile. concept citizenship does not conform Islamic teachings, especially traditions, because the regulation human life is in hands national state, but state. This article aims explore urgency moderation higher education strengthen national, religious traditions. study uses a descriptive qualitative method literature review. Using this method, it expected that researchers can comprehensively analyze importance using These triangles interconnected mutually reinforcing. reality civilization, recognized teachings part God's will creating heterogeneous people. Students should be taught so their views attitudes reflect values. Based on results investigation, was found many things were do conflict with Islam; need integrate subject Islam courses.
